Ingredients
4 lbs beef brisket
8 slices of bacon, chopped
1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 large onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. 1. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. 2. In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
3. 3. Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. 4. Place the brisket in the slow cooker and pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
5. 5. Add the sautéed onions, garlic, and crispy bacon on top of the brisket.
6. 6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
