Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Creamy Maple Drizzle:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the crumbled bacon.
4. Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
5. Pour an appropriate amount of batter onto the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions until golden brown.
