Ingredients
1 pound Brussels sprouts
8 slices bacon
1/2 cup bourbon
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
3. Wrap each Brussels sprout with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
4. In a bowl, mix bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
5. Place the bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and brush with the bourbon glaze.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the Brussels sprouts are tender.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the Brussels sprouts in the bourbon glaze for an hour before wrapping them in bacon.
