Delicious chicken wings glazed with a sweet bourbon maple sauce, served with a tangy dipping sauce for an unforgettable flavor experience.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken wings
2 tbsp bourbon
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Salt to taste
For the dipping sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine bourbon, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, black pepper, cayenne, and salt.
3. Add chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
4. Arrange wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
6. While wings are baking, mix all dipping sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
7. Serve wings hot with tangy dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, broil them for the last 5 minutes of cooking. Adjust the cayenne pepper according to your spice preference.
