Description

Buffalo Bacon Jalapeño Poppers are a spicy and savory appetizer filled with cream cheese, cheddar, and crispy bacon, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

12 large jalapeños, halved and seeded

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup buffalo sauce

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup green onions, chopped for garnish


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.

4. Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly.

6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.


Notes

For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
