Description

A rich and decadent tart featuring a buttery crust, filled with a luscious chocolate ganache, and topped with caramelized orange slices.


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg yolk

1/4 cup heavy cream

8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large oranges, sliced

1 tablespoon butter


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt.

3. Add softened butter and egg yolk, mix until crumbly.

4. Press the mixture into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.

5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and pour over chopped chocolate, stir until smooth.

6. Pour the chocolate ganache into the cooled tart shell.

7. In another pan, melt butter and add sugar, then add orange slices and caramelize for 5 minutes.

8. Top the tart with caramelized orange slices and let it set before serving.


Notes

Serve chilled for the best flavor.
