Description
This caramelized chocolate raspberry tart features a rich chocolate filling topped with sweet caramelized raspberries, all nestled in a buttery tart crust.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons cold water
1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup fresh raspberries
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
3. Add egg yolk and cold water, mix until dough forms.
4. Roll out the dough and fit it into a tart pan.
5. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
6. In a saucepan, heat cream and pour over chopped chocolate, stir until smooth.
7. Pour chocolate filling into the baked crust and chill.
8. In another pan, caramelize raspberries with brown sugar and lemon juice for 5 minutes.
9. Top the chilled tart with caramelized raspberries before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled for best flavor.
Garnish with mint leaves for a fresh touch.
