Description

A delicious and creamy cheesy bacon potato casserole that is perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix together sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.

4. Spread half of the sour cream mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle half of the bacon and cheese.

5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.

6. Top with breadcrumbs for a crunchy finish.

7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.


Notes

For extra flavor, add some chopped green onions on top before serving.

This dish can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
