These Cheesy Garlic Bacon Bombs are a mouthwatering appetizer that combines crispy bacon and gooey cheese, served with a creamy dip for the perfect party snack!
Ingredients
– 1 lb of bacon, cut in half
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup cream cheese, softened
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 cup chopped chives
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– Oil for frying
– Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and chives. Mix until well combined.
4. Take a piece of bacon and wrap it around a spoonful of the cheese mixture, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
5. Repeat with the remaining bacon and cheese mixture.
6. Roll each bacon bomb in flour, dip in beaten egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat. Fry the bacon bombs until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
8. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
9. Serve warm with your favorite creamy dip.

Notes
For extra flavor, you can add spices to the breadcrumb coating.
Make sure the bacon is cooked thoroughly but not burnt.
These can also be baked instead of fried: place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
