Description
These Cheesy Garlic Herb Fondue Bites are the perfect appetizer for holiday parties. Deliciously cheesy and infused with garlic and fresh herbs, they are sure to impress your guests!
Ingredients
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
– 1/4 cup garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 package of pre-made puff pastry (about 1 lb)
– 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 2-inch squares.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Place a small spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
6. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
These bites can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just bake them straight from the freezer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
