Description
A rich and indulgent dessert featuring layers of chocolate, caramel, and pecans.
Ingredients
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and sugar over medium heat until combined.
3. Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
5. Spread the chopped pecans in the pie crust and pour the chocolate caramel mixture over them.
6. Bake for 25 minutes or until the filling is set.
7. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream for an extra treat.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
