Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
7. While cookies cool, beat together peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
8. Spread the peanut butter frosting on cooled cookies and enjoy!
Notes
