Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mashed Cauliflower is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. This dish is rich in flavor and perfect as a side for any meal.
Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 10 minutes.
2. In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a food processor.
4. Add the sautéed garlic, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, salt, and pepper to the food processor.
5. Blend until smooth and creamy.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with low-fat milk.
You can also add roasted garlic for a deeper flavor.
