Description

Indulge in these Creamy Mac & Cheese Stuffed Meatball Sliders, perfect for family dinners! Juicy meatballs filled with creamy mac & cheese, served on soft slider buns.

Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

– 1 lb ground beef

– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 egg

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

For the Mac & Cheese:

– 1 cup elbow macaroni

– 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

– 1/2 cup milk

– 2 tbsp butter

– 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

– 1/2 tsp mustard powder

For Assembly:

– Slider buns

– Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

3. 3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux, then gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.

4. 4. Stir in cheese and mustard powder until melted and creamy. Mix in the cooked macaroni and set aside.

5. 5. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

6. 6. Form meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and press a small amount of the mac & cheese into the center of each meatball, sealing the meat around it.

7. 7. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

8. 8. Serve on slider buns, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add your favorite seasonings to the meatball mixture.

These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
