Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Vegetable oil for frying

3. In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

6. Remove the wings from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
7. Dredge each wing in the flour mixture until fully coated.
8. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
9. Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
10. Transfer the cooked wings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
