Description

These Crunchy Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts are a delightful combination of savory and sweet, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

4 slices of bacon, chopped

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

4. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.

5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

6. Drizzle maple syrup and balsamic vinegar over the Brussels sprouts and bacon.

7. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until crispy and caramelized.


Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped pecans during the last 5 minutes of roasting.

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
