Description
These crunchy Parmesan-dusted Brussels sprouts bites are the perfect appetizer or side dish. They’re crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor!
Ingredients
• 1 lb Brussels sprouts
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• ½ cup breadcrumbs
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
3. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
4. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
5. Coat the Brussels sprouts in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly covered.
6. Place the coated Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs.
You can also add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
