Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg yolk
1/4 cup heavy cream
8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar.
3. Add softened butter and egg yolk, mixing until crumbly.
4. Press the mixture into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate.
6. Stir until smooth, then add hazelnuts, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
7. Pour the chocolate mixture into the baked crust and bake for another 20 minutes.
8. Let cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
