This Decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart is a rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of chocolate and peanut butter in a delicious tart shell.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a tart pan.
3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
4. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
6. Fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
7. Spread the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
8. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the tart before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
Serve with whipped cream or chocolate shavings on top.
