This Decadent Maple Pecan Tart features a rich, buttery crust filled with a sweet maple syrup mixture and topped with crunchy pecans, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg yolk
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup pecans, chopped
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
3. Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
4. Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes.
5. In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon.
6. Stir in chopped pecans and pour the mixture into the crust.
7. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set.
8. Let cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream for an extra touch.
