Description

This Fiery Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese Bake combines the rich, creamy goodness of mac and cheese with the spicy kick of buffalo chicken, all topped with a crispy breadcrumb layer. Perfect for a game day feast or a cozy family dinner!

2 cups elbow macaroni

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1 cup buffalo sauce

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup milk

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

3. 2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

4. 3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; cook for about 1 minute.

5. 4. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until the mixture thickens (about 3-5 minutes).

6. 5. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese and mozzarella until melted and smooth.

7. 6. Add the cooked macaroni and shredded chicken to the cheese sauce, then stir in buffalo sauce until well combined.
