Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
1/2 cup Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
1 package of crescent roll dough
Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
3. 3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into squares (about 3×3 inches).
4. 4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each dough square, top with crushed tortilla chips, and add a few jalapeño slices if desired.
5. 5. Fold the dough over the filling to create a bomb shape and pinch the edges to seal.
6. 6. Place the filled bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
8. 8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
9. 9. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
These nacho bombs are extremely spicy due to the ghost peppers, so adjust the amount of BBQ sauce to your heat preference.
Serve with ranch or sour cream to help cool the heat.
