Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup hot honey
1 package egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
2. 2. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, and hot honey.
3. 3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
4. 4. Fold the wrapper over the filling, then roll it up tightly, sealing the edges with water.
5. 5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. 6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with extra hot honey for dipping.
Notes
These egg rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying. Just fry them straight from the freezer for a quick snack!
