Description

A delicious turkey burger loaded with Thanksgiving flavors, topped with homemade cranberry aioli. Perfect for a festive twist on a classic burger!


Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 egg

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

4 whole wheat burger buns

1 cup lettuce

1/2 cup sliced tomatoes

1/2 cup cranberry sauce

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp Dijon mustard


Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.

3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the turkey patties for 6-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cranberry aioli by mixing mayonnaise, cranberry sauce, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.

5. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

6. Assemble the burgers by placing a turkey patty on each bun, topping with lettuce, tomato, and a generous amount of cranberry aioli. Serve immediately.


Notes

For extra flavor, add some fresh herbs like thyme or sage to the turkey mixture.

This recipe can be easily scaled up for a larger crowd.
