Description

Juicy beef burger topped with crispy bacon, sweet maple bourbon BBQ sauce, and caramelized onions for a flavor-packed experience.


Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef

– 4 slices of bacon

– 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

– 1/2 cup maple syrup

– 1/4 cup bourbon

– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– 4 hamburger buns

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Lettuce and tomato for garnish


Instructions

2. 1. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. 2. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook on medium heat until caramelized, about 15 minutes.

4. 3. In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce to create the BBQ sauce.

5. 4. Form ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.

6. 5. Grill or pan-fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

7. 6. During the last minute of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce over the patties.

8. 7. Assemble the burgers: place a patty on the bottom half of the bun, top with bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato. Cover with the top half of the bun.

9. 8. Serve immediately and enjoy!


Notes

 

– For an extra flavor boost, add cheese on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking.

– You can adjust the sweetness of the BBQ sauce by adding more or less maple syrup.
