Deliciously smoky and sweet, these Maple Chipotle BBQ Brisket Sliders are served with a crunchy slaw for a perfect sandwich experience.
Ingredients
2 lbs brisket
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup chipotle sauce
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
12 slider buns
2 cups coleslaw mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
Instructions
1. Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2. In a slow cooker, combine maple syrup and chipotle sauce, then add the brisket.
3. Cook on low for 8 hours, until tender.
4. Remove brisket and shred it with forks.
5. Mix coleslaw ingredients in a bowl and toss until well combined.
6. Assemble sliders by placing shredded brisket on slider buns and topping with coleslaw.
Notes
Best served with pickles and extra chipotle sauce on the side.
You can prepare the brisket a day ahead for even better flavor.
