Description

Delicious pancakes infused with maple syrup and crunchy pecans, perfect for a sunny breakfast.


Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

1 large egg

2 tablespoons melted butter

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup maple syrup


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.

4. Fold in chopped pecans and maple syrup.

5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.

6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form.

7. Flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.

8. Serve warm with additional maple syrup and pecans.


Notes

For fluffier pancakes, do not overmix the batter.

You can substitute walnuts for pecans if desired.
