These Maple Whiskey Glazed Chicken Wings are the perfect combination of sweet and savory, with a touch of spice from the honey drizzle. Perfect for parties or game day!
Ingredients
– 2 lbs chicken wings
– 1/2 cup maple syrup
– 1/4 cup whiskey
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp ginger, grated
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1 tbsp sriracha (optional)
– Green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. 2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, whiskey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
3. 3. Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
4. 4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. 5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
6. 6. While the wings are baking, mix honey and sriracha in a small bowl for the drizzle.
7. 7. Once the wings are done, remove from the oven and drizzle with the spicy honey mixture.
8. 8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, broil them for the last 5 minutes of cooking. Adjust the level of spiciness in the honey drizzle to your taste by adding more or less sriracha.
