Description

Gather around for a delightful experience with this rich and creamy melty three-cheese fondue. Paired with fresh herb dippers, it’s perfect for sharing!

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz Gruyère cheese, shredded

8 oz Emmental cheese, shredded

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup dry white wine

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

French bread, cut into cubes

Vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots), cut into sticks

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the Gruyère, Emmental, and cream cheese with cornstarch. Set aside.

2. In a fondue pot or a heavy saucepan, heat the white wine over medium heat until it’s warm but not boiling.

3. Add the minced garlic and lemon juice to the wine, stirring to combine.

4. Gradually add the cheese mixture to the pot, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.

5. Once the cheese is fully melted, season with salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.

6. Serve immediately with bread cubes and vegetable dippers, allowing guests to dip and enjoy.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a splash of your favorite liqueur, such as Kirsch.

Make sure to stir continuously while adding the cheese to prevent clumping.

If the fondue is too thick, add a little more wine to reach your desired consistency.
