Description
Creamy and flavorful mashed potatoes infused with roasted garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 head of garlic, roasted
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
2. While the potatoes are cooking, roast the garlic in the oven at 400°F for 30 minutes.
3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
4. Add the roasted garlic, milk, and butter to the potatoes.
5. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chives or parsley as a garnish.
Make sure to not over-mash the potatoes to keep them fluffy.
