Ingredients
4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. In an oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
4. Add the minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
5. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
6. Flip the chicken thighs and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (75 degrees C).
8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the herb butter mixture for a few hours before cooking.
