These Smoky BBQ Brisket Sliders are a delicious, hearty treat, perfect for any gathering! The tender brisket is smoked to perfection and paired with a crunchy slaw that adds a refreshing crunch.
Ingredients
– 2 lbs beef brisket
– 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 1 cup barbecue sauce
– 12 slider buns
– 2 cups coleslaw mix
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
2. 2. Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. 3. Place the brisket in the smoker and smoke for about 6-8 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 200°F (93°C).
4. 4. Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes.
5. 5. While the brisket is resting, mix together the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and salt and pepper in a bowl.
6. 6. Slice the brisket thinly against the grain.
7. 7. Assemble the sliders by placing a slice of brisket on each bun and topping it with a generous amount of crunchy slaw.
8. 8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
– For extra flavor, try adding a bit of liquid smoke to the brisket rub.
