These Smoky Maple Bourbon Pulled Pork Sliders are a perfect blend of sweet and smoky flavors, served on soft buns with a tangy slaw that adds crunch and brightness.
Ingredients
1 (4-5 lb) pork shoulder roast
1 cup maple bourbon
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
8 slider buns
2 cups coleslaw mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp celery seed
Instructions
1. 1. In a slow cooker, place the pork shoulder roast and pour the maple bourbon, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar over it.

3. 2. In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture over the pork.

5. 3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of hot sauce to the pulled pork mixture.
