Description

These Spiced Rum-Glazed Chicken Wings are a perfect blend of sweet and savory, with a tangy sweet chili drizzle that will have everyone reaching for seconds!


Ingredients

– 2 lbs chicken wings

– 1/2 cup dark spiced rum

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1/4 cup soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon grated ginger

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

– 1 tablespoon lime juice

– Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. In a bowl, mix the rum, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, paprika, cayenne, and olive oil.

3. 3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4. 4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through, flipping halfway.

6. 6. While the wings are baking, mix the sweet chili sauce and lime juice in a small bowl.

7. 7. Once the wings are done, drizzle the sweet chili sauce over them.

8. 8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.


Notes

For extra crispy wings, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking. Adjust the cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
