Description

These Spicy Bacon-wrapped Avocado Bites are a deliciously savory appetizer that combines crispy bacon with creamy avocado and a hint of spice. Perfect for parties or game day!

Ingredients

Scale

4 ripe avocados

12 slices of bacon

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out a little extra flesh to create a larger cavity.

3. In a bowl, mix chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

4. Sprinkle the spice mixture into the avocado halves.

5. Wrap each avocado half with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.

6. Place the bacon-wrapped avocados on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of lime juice before serving.

Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of cayenne pepper used.
