Description

These Spicy Beer-Battered Chicken Wings are crispy, flavorful, and perfect for game day or a backyard barbecue. The tangy sauce adds the perfect kick!


Ingredients

– 2 pounds chicken wings

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1 cup beer (lager or pale ale)

– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Oil for frying

– ½ cup hot sauce

– ¼ cup melted butter

– 1 tablespoon honey


Instructions

2. – In a large bowl, mix the flour, beer, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3. – Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

4. – Dip each chicken wing into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.

5. – Carefully place the wings in the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes.

6. – Remove wings and drain on paper towels.

7. – In a separate bowl, mix the hot sauce, melted butter, and honey for the sauce.

8. – Toss the fried wings in the sauce until well coated.

9. – Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

– You can adjust the spiciness by adding more or less cayenne pepper and hot sauce.
