Description

These Spicy Herb Cheese Bombs are a delightful appetizer, featuring a crispy exterior and a gooey, flavorful cheese center, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, dill)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 package of puff pastry, thawed

1 egg, beaten for egg wash


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, herbs, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.

3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.

4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each square.

5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.

6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.


Notes

These bombs can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
