Description

This Sweet and Spicy Mango Habanero Chicken is a delightful blend of flavors, combining the sweetness of ripe mangoes with the heat of habanero peppers. Perfect for a summer barbecue or a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless chicken breasts

2 ripe mangoes, diced

2 habanero peppers, finely chopped

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. 2. In a bowl, mix the diced mangoes, habanero peppers, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. 3. Marinate the chicken breasts in the mango mixture for at least 30 minutes.

4. 4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and reserve the marinade.

5. 5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

6. 6. Brush the reserved marinade onto the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.

7. 7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

8. 8. Serve with extra mango salsa on top.

Notes

For a milder dish, remove the seeds from the habanero peppers.

Serve with rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
