Description
These Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Peppers are a delicious and satisfying twist on the classic cheeseburger. Packed with ground beef, crispy bacon, and topped with gooey cheese, these peppers are perfect for a low-carb meal!
Ingredients
4 large bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
1 lb ground beef
6 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Add chopped bacon, diced onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
5. Stuff the mixture into each bell pepper, pressing down to pack it in.
6. Top each pepper with shredded cheddar cheese.
7. Place stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish and add a little water to the bottom of the dish.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the peppers are tender.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize the stuffing with your favorite ingredients like different cheeses or vegetables. You can also use turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter option.
