Description

These Crispy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts with Bacon are a deliciously savory side dish. Perfectly roasted, crispy Brussels sprouts are tossed with crispy bacon, garlic, and Parmesan cheese for an irresistible flavor combination. Enjoy them as a side dish or a snack!


Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

4 slices bacon, chopped

3 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, chopped bacon, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.

3. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet.

4. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy and the bacon is cooked through, stirring halfway through.

5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.

6. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and chopped parsley before serving.


Notes

For extra crunch, broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.

You can substitute turkey bacon for a lighter version.

Feel free to adjust garlic and Parmesan amounts to your taste.
