Ingredients
1 lb bacon
1 lb ground pork sausage
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced jalapeños
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
2. Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
3. In a bowl, mix the ground pork sausage, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, barbecue sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Form the sausage mixture into small balls and wrap each ball with bacon.
5. Secure the bacon with toothpicks if necessary.
6. Grill the bites for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the sausage is cooked through.
Notes
These bites can be made ahead of time and reheated on the grill. Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer jalapeños.
