Description

Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with smoky bacon and sharp cheddar cheese, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2. In a bowl, mix the crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the bacon and cheese mixture.

4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear each stuffed chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side.

5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.

6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
