Description

These Spicy Herb Cheese Stuffed Peppers are a delightful appetizer, bursting with flavor and perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale

4 large bell peppers

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

4. Stuff each pepper with the cheese mixture, packing it tightly.

5. Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

For a milder version, reduce the amount of red pepper flakes.

These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
